Taking Sabina Dufberg, coach in Biggest Loser 2014, from a private person to a public brand through imagery. How?
When creating a personal brand it’s imperative to be consistent and create a look and feel that is appealing in all channels. A brand’s strength comes from the collective impact and lasting impression it has to all that sees it. Creating a brand is about managing these effects. “Managing the image” becomes a successful expression when approaching the task as photographer as well as a storyteller. It’s about creating a personal touch, maintaining quality and staying consistent in all channels.
All images were taken based achieving three basic parameters. These were; clarity & focus of the eyes, subject in action and with a warm skin tone. The importance of having a plan when shooting makes the difference between a consistent and inconsistent brand. Each image displays the nature of the subject, in this case Sabina Dufberg, a true physical being. Providing the viewer with a feeling of focus, strength and the capability.
